Fun gameplay with good art and music.
Excellent story telling and game worked fine. I did not find any bugs except I played on web version and sometimes it lagged.
I would like to play levels of this game with different enemies and progression for weapon unlocks with different recipes. Game makes me remember the good old days of plants vs zombies.

Really original and cool idea with good art and music.
I would like to be able to use the dragon stomp and fire whenever I want to and whatever place I want to. The game right now forces you to click on it when it appears which I don't like as a design decision but it balances the game here.
Able to forge and make monsters is really fun and executed really well.
I totally misunderstood the game about 1 input. I only saw one input that is click button and thought it was all there is to it.
My View as an outsider to clickers:
The only thing game is missing is the hook to play it for me. I don't know why player needs to get high score.
My recommendations would be to put some context to the game like you are killing monsters and the score shows the number of monsters player has killed.
I know it's been done with limited resources and it's great with what you have but my feedback is this after trying it a couple of times.
Oh Pi-rates! Totally went over me.
what I mean by gameplay not changing is I only had one input and one way to give it. I have not played many clickers except for some idle clickers so it might be something obvious I am missing here.
I gave it another try and yeah gameplay changes I missed somethings when I played before. Totally my bad, without UI telling me it goes over my head.
Your idea is really original and its well executed giving many playstyles.
Really fun game executed really well. Good Art and Music.
I got some bugs like the camera would would zoom out and stay like that and the yellow cubes are not pickable sometimes. The area up to how much the obstacles effect is not telegraphed properly sometimes like with the press to middle one from both sides.
Good job on your first GWJ. Good art and music.
The placement of next level is not good. I could not find it for a while and pressed quit a couple of times without knowing.
The shooting is not fun, the reload time to shoot another bullet is too long. I would like it more if we can spam the bullets much more faster.
The enemies went by too fast and sometimes when they escape the level finished. It would be nice to make them appear again on the screen to try again a couple of times before moving on.
Keep up the good work and hope to see you on next jam!
Neat idea and good music.
Instead of clicking on the button it would have been better to make it an anvil or an enemy. There is no reason why I as a player have to click on it.
There are items I am getting for leveling up and I don't see any visible difference in my gameplay. That is I am still clicking. Generally the design for leveling up is to make the gameplay different by giving some new things since we can only click it does not feel fun leveling up.
why the 3 minutes and 14 seconds time limit? Is there a reason for it?
Good job on your first GWJ and as a solo developer keep up the good work!
This is a very cool idea to forge army to fight enemies. I prefer to click on items instead of hovering the mouse over them to pick them up. Also I found the spears die very quickly, I guess it might be that all are taking damage for 1 swing from the giant, this makes the bows much more powerful.
Cool art, music and animations.
Thanks for playing! My original plan was to make the bridges fit in the slots and there would be limited bridge components and player has to solve the puzzle to do it. The bridges turned out to be buggy by the time I finished the NPC AI and there was no time to implement the original concept. Thanks for feedback. I am planning to fix the bugs and implement my original idea.
Really cool idea executed well. Fun gameplay, good pixel art and colorful music.
Game is missing red color. The time limit is too small for my taste. The brushes are at an angle to the drawing board but draw vertically and its somewhat confusing.
I recommend changing the brushes to vertical sprites instead of diagonal when drawing.
I also recommend a free style mode with no time limit.
Thanks for playing! The original core mechanic was to make grids for the bridges to slot in place and I wanted to make the grids freeform so we can stack bridges if we want. Unfortunately I started late and spent too long on NPC AI and blocks turned out buggy. I used a free art asset (I put it in credits).
